Overview

This template is used to display information about gathering nodes.
It supports all harvesting professions and includes location, tool requirements, and possible resource yields.

Usage

Paste the following example into any page to use the template:

{{ResourceNode
| name =
| node_image_file =
| harvesting_profession =
| harvesting_level =
| tool_required =
| location =
| possible_yield =
}}
Parameters

name
Optional. Display name of the resource node (defaults to the page name if omitted).
node_image_file
File name for an image of the node in the world (omit the "File:" prefix).
harvesting_profession
The profession used to harvest the node (e.g., Prospector, Hunter, Forester). Adds the page to relevant profession categories.
harvesting_level
Minimum level for harvesting the node.
tool_required
The tool needed to gather from the node (e.g., Pickaxe, Skinning Knife). Links to the tool’s category.
location
Comma-separated list of zones where the node may appear.
possible_yield
Comma-separated list of raw materials this node can yield.
Categories

Pages using this template are automatically added to:

  • Category:Resource Nodes
  • Category:Harvesting
  • Category:<harvesting_profession> Nodes
Notes

  • All sections are optional and only appear if the related parameter is filled.
  • Locations and possible yield lists are automatically formatted with pretty links.
Use Page::Label formatting for nicer links (e.g., Doe/Newhaven Valley::Doe (Newhaven Valley)).
  • Use consistent capitalization for professions and tools to ensure correct categorization and linking.
