Initiating the Quest
- This quest is initiated when you enter the world for the first time.
Talk to Guard Rhonda at the First Camp
It's very strange. Just a short breather near this rock formation and my wounds have mended seemingly of their own accord. Perhaps I should talk to some of the folks nearby for some answers. That guard lady posted near the entrance to this camp looks open to helping newcomers.
- Once you talk to Rhonda, she will offer to help get you "back in shape so you can defend yourself."
- From here you have to choices that will effect the outcome of the quest.
You can accept her help and she will instruct you to engage a nearby Target Dummy
Approach the dummies
Rhonda has asked me to test my mettle against the dummies across the path.
- Approach the dummies, dummy.
Hit the dummy
These dummies seem to have seen a lot of use.
- See Basic Combat if you need help with this...
Visit Rhonda at the First Camp for a reward
That should be enough of a demonstration for Rhonda, I should get back to her.
- Go back and speak with Rhonda again.
- Confirm your reward with Rhonda.
- Rhonda will suggest that you check in with Johan, just up the path.
Rewards
Upon Completion
I proved myself to Rhonda and she has set me on my way. She was kind enough to provide me with some rejuvenating tinctures for my travels.
- OR
You can tell her that you "don't need help with combat at all."
- Rhonda will hint that if you choose to forgo her help, you might miss out on possible rewards
