Contributing to Drifter's Almanac

Welcome, Drifter! Your knowledge and discoveries can help build the greatest source of truth for Embers Adrift. This guide hub will help you learn how to contribute effectively and keep the Almanac clean and consistent.

Getting Started

If you're new to editing MediaWiki, don't worry! We use templates and guidelines to make contributions easy, fast, and clean.

General Rules

Use templates whenever possible (for consistency).
Keep page titles simple and match in-game names.
Always link related content (classes, zones, items) when possible.
Add categories properly — many templates do this automatically.
If you're unsure, ask! We want contributions to be fun, not stressful.

Advanced Editing

Once you're comfortable, you can help with:

Template improvements
Building full regional maps
Helping curate enemy lists and spawn information
Organizing guides for crafting, class builds, and exploration

Style Guidelines

Write from a neutral, factual perspective.
Match the in-game terminology and phrasing where possible.
Avoid spoilers when describing lore unless clearly marked.
